Never hold hands with a man in my life

Ye Yao discovers that his new friend, Lu Xun, is very resistant to same-sex affection.

Simply put, it's homophobic.

The reason he found out about it was simple: he saw a boy confessing to Lu Xun.

At the end of the school day, Ye Yao packed his bag to go to the milk tea store to work, and Lu Xun, his new classmate and best friend, was carrying a backpack on one shoulder with his hands in his pockets, and said with a blank face that he was bored and wanted to follow him to have a look around.

Lu Xun's family and former friends are not here, and no one cares where he goes after school.

"Whatever." Ye Yao didn't mind being seen by acquaintances at work, "You remember to get today's homework."

Lu Xun frowned, "What's homework, I never write this stuff."

"Oh, okay." Ye Yao continued to pack her bag, with a bit of regret in her tone, "Originally I didn't have much time to write my homework, so I wanted to borrow yours to copy it, so that I could sleep early at night, but if you don't write it then there's nothing I can do about it."

Ye Yao sighed, zipped up her book bag, and slung it on her back, "Let's go."

Lu Xun frowned even more tightly, he looked at Ye Yao for a moment and very impatiently bent down and took out the workbook and books from the drawer and stuffed them into his own school bag.

The corner of Ye Yao's lips hooked imperceptibly as he watched Lu Xun reposition his backpack over his shoulder.

"Class President Ye asked me to copy my homework, but I remembered it." Lu Xun said.

Ye Yao smiled, "I'll let you copy it back next time."

Mr. Lu grunted, reluctantly agreeing to the exchange, and walked out of the classroom with Ye Yao.

Ye Yao didn't tell Lu Xun , who had a special situation at home, that he had always done well enough in his studies that his teachers in all subjects turned a blind eye to whether he would hand in his homework or not, except that he would finish it on time himself.

In fact, the time it takes to copy Lu Xun's work is not much different from the time it takes him to do it directly himself.

The act may seem superfluous, but Ye Yao thinks it's worth it to get Lu Xun started on his homework.

Lu Xun came to school alone, halfway across the country, with no parents or friends around, and he helped as much as he could.

They were heading to the bicycle parking lot, and after leaving the school building, they had to walk around half of the basketball court. There were a lot of people around the court, and Ye Yao and Lu Xun were halfway across when they suddenly saw a basketball flying towards them out of the corner of their eyes.

Lu Xun stood on the outside and raised his hand to stop the flying basketball directly and precisely.

Ye Yao noticed that the people in the basketball court were still playing basketball in the heat of the moment, and I don't know who was on the sidelines of the court shooting the ball for fun by himself, and accidentally knocked the ball out of the air.

Ye Yao was just thinking that when he saw a boy running towards them.

The boy was good-looking, fairly white, and had a sunny smile.

"Sorry, I didn't control the ball when I shot, luckily you guys are fine." The boy ran over while talking, his eyes looking at Lu Xun, "Classmate you have good hands, make a friend?"

Lu Xun threw the ball back before the boy could get in front of him.

Lu Xun's face was expressionless, he didn't want to talk much and turned his head to the other side to look at Ye Yao : "Let's go."

But the boy who threw the basketball didn't stop; he continued to approach forward and reached out his hand.

"Classmate, did you get a piece of my ball on your sleeve here, let me help you-"

Before his fingertips can touch the sleeve, Lu Xun withdraws his hand.

"Dude, that's too much of a drag, no wonder the girls in my class keep talking about you." The boy smiled, "Make a friend? I heard that you rejected all the girls who confessed to you, maybe we can exchange ideas?"

Lu Xun's expression went completely cold.

"Who is your brother." Lu Xun gave a cry, his eyebrows full of hostility, "Don't talk nonsense here, if you want to be beaten I'll accompany you, if I don't beat you up until you call yourself a grandson, I'll write my name backwards."

This attitude is many times worse than when confronted with a girl's confession.

The boy paused for a moment, turned and ran away, clutching the ball.

Quiet returns to the perimeter, and Ye Yao continues to advance with Lu Xun.

Ye Yao was still pondering over that conversation when he heard Lu Xun speak in a deep voice, "Do you have any napkins?"

High cold school bully of course is not carry paper towels, fights on the hands and body dust that is the merit badge, there is no immediate need to wipe off, other times there is even less need to carry paper towels.

Ye Yao took out a napkin from his bag and handed it to Lu Xun, watching as Lu Xun took out the mineral water on the side of his backpack and dipped it into the napkin, then wiped his hand, which had just touched the ball, and his sleeve, which had just been almost touched, fiercely clean.

When he was done, Lu Xun threw his hand up, perfectly balling up the soggy tissue paper into the far side of the trash can.

"...... You have a cleanliness fetish?" Ye Yao asked.

They'd been desk mates for a few days, and he hadn't actually realized that Lu Xun had a cleanliness problem.

"It's not cleanliness." Lu Xun frowned and drew another piece of paper to dry the water off her hands, "I don't like people touching me, especially guys, especially guys who like me."

But he wasn't surprised that Lu Xun didn't like to be touched.

Lu Xun looks like he has an aura of isolation from other people, and isn't it only natural that the cool and cool school bully doesn't like to be touched?

Luckily, he wasn't in the habit of necessarily hooking up with his friends to enhance their relationship, so he never touched Lu Xun, and the two of them just interacted normally.

Walking to the parking lot, Ye Yao opened his bike when something else suddenly occurred to him and he curiously asked his mysterious looking school bully friend, "So what are you going to do when you have to shake someone's hand on something like a podium later, wear a glove?"

"A handshake is a handshake, just don't be holding hands." Lu Xun probably imagined some picture, a trace of disgust flashed across his face, and his voice became low, "Who wants to hold hands with a guy? Anyway, in my life, there's no way I'll ever hold hands."

Ye Yao Shunli leads the way to the milk tea store where he works part-time.

It was not convenient to disturb him during office hours, so Lu Xun found a corner seat and sat down. He sat for a while and took out his homework and textbooks from his bag.

Why is he doing his homework here? So strange.

He was most annoyed with the routine of reading and writing assignments, and now he was actually doing what he hated most.

Lu Xun frowned and wrote the word solve under homework.

The content under the word "solve" needed to use the brain to analyze, the homework at the very beginning were all simple questions that could be done after flipping through the book, Lu Xun wasn't so bad that he didn't even understand this. However, his line of sight still shifted, moving to the person at the counter.

Ye Yao is so good-looking that even the most ordinary work clothes have a unique flavor on him, like a long and peaceful landscape painting.

A person who seemed so sheltered and left out of the world had decisively chosen to come to his aid after finding him surrounded by a number of people looking for trouble when he wasn't familiar with them at all.

The body hand is dry and sharp, after the fight is gone, waving a sleeve does not take away a cloud, and do not need his return thanks, only to give him a dashing departure back.

Even when he saw him in class the next day, he could still act as if nothing had happened, and even when he came to collect his homework from him, he didn't say a word about yesterday's events.

How little credit is this intended, or is it just a minor life event that Ye Yao sees as oddly unimportant?

Lu Xun still hasn't written a word of his homework.

Ever since Ye Yao started coming in, there have been more people, mostly girls, by the store.

Two girls sat at the table next to Lu Xun and ordered two cups of milk tea, chatting while admiring the beauty.

Lu Xun could faintly hear them talking.

"Being able to work part-time while being first in his grade is too strong. I wonder how many points he could shake off the second in his grade if he spent all his time studying?"

"I don't know, but it's impossible not to work, I heard my mom say that his mom's illness is going to cost quite a lot of money, so he has to work and study hard. Why am I not a rich woman ah oooh, in the difficult times to give Ye schoolgrass warmth, in the future he will certainly be able to remember me, it is really money to the use of the time to hate!"

"Ugh, he definitely won't want it anymore, being a rich woman doesn't help. I heard someone say that his family side ......"

There are no secrets in small towns, Lu Xun sat next to him and listened to Ye Yao's family affairs.

Lu Xun looks down at his shoes.

The clothes and shoes he was wearing were all designer brands, and this pair of shoes alone would cost tens of thousands of dollars.

He'd had a golden spoon in his mouth since birth, and now in front of him was someone completely different from him.

Well-behaved, obedient and polite, learning and living with both hands, the best child in the elders' eyes, never letting anyone worry.

Diametrically opposed to him.

Lu Xun withdrew his eyes in silence, flipped through a few pages of the book to look at them, and picked up his pen again, writing a string of formulas at the back of the word solve.

Lu Xun finished writing the first few questions, and the topic of the two girls next to him changed direction.

"I don't know what type of girl he likes Oh, if it's schoolmaster Ye's girlfriend sitting here, maybe schoolmaster Ye will even personally bring the milk tea over and then take the opportunity to chat with his girlfriend."

"Did you secretly watch a TV show behind my back, why are you so thoughtful! Whatever, then I'm now the schoolmaster's girlfriend, the schoolmaster brought me milk tea over, and in that instant, the whole school exploded!"

Lu Xun's hand that was moving his pen to write the question stopped, and he looked at the question on the textbook with an expressionless face.

"Hey? He really came over with a glass of lemonade?"

"...... No way, his girlfriend can't really be here, I'm having my dreams shattered."

Lu Xun's frown twitched slightly, suddenly a glass of lemonade was held in long fingers and placed on his desktop, Lu Xun followed the hand upwards and met Ye Yao's eyes.

Ye Yao smiled slightly, "Writing so many questions? Awesome."

Lu Xun swiped his pen and wrote another word for solution on the next question, "That's nothing impressive, you've never seen anything more impressive."

Ye Yao agreed with this, and Lu Xun looked at the word "solve" a little more favorably, and he asked, "How much did this glass of water cost you? I'll pay you back."

Ye Yao smiled and shook his head, "No money, it's on me, thanks for copying my homework for me."

Lu Xun The corners of his mouth lifted slightly, then pressed down again, "How many other people have you invited like this?"

Lu Xun saw Ye Yao bend his eyes.

"Where so many people lend me their homework to copy, you're the only one."

Lu Xun looked at Ye Yao and subconsciously went to grab the lemonade, but he didn't want to press his hand not on the cold cup, but on a warm object.

Ye Yao froze, remembering Lu Xun's dislike of contact with men, and immediately took his hand away.

Unexpectedly, Lu Xun, as if he didn't react, followed his hand away from the cup.

Without the cups as support, their hands touched in mid-air as if they were holding each other.
