Parallel Worlds ⑤
Early the next morning, Ji Su woke up in a daze.
It was still light and the room was dim.
He felt something hot against his palm, and opened his eyes to find his eyes on a half-exposed chest, and the hand pressed against firm abs.
Ji Su, conscious for a few moments, instinctively pulled back, only to find one of her legs resting on the lean waist again.
He was on top of Gu Zhao like an octopus.
Ji Su blushed, and carefully lifted the leg that was resting on the other.
He remembered that he was a good sleeper, how come the first time he slept with Gu Zhao, he slept in such a mess ......
Just as he was about to succeed, Gu Zhao made a disgruntled grunt from his throat, raised his hand with his eyes closed, and threw him into his arms.
Ji Su didn't dare to move, her cheeks were forced to press against the hot pectoral muscles, and even the roots of her ears turned red.
He struggled a little, but did not break away from those arms, and afraid of waking up the other side, he could only be obediently held in Gu Zhao's arms.
They're legally married anyway, so it's okay to cuddle and sleep together, right?
With this in mind, Ji Su reclosed his eyes.
Listening to the sound of a steady and powerful heartbeat coming from his ears, sleepiness gradually came over him, and without realizing it he fell asleep again.
It wasn't until the breaths in his arms grew long that Gu Zhao opened his eyes, a smile spilling from the corners of his lips.
That's a good girl. If only she'd been more forthcoming.
When Ji Su woke up again, he was alone in bed.
He got up and out of bed, drew back the curtains and realized it was a sunny day.
After washing up, Ji Su changed her clothes and walked out of the bedroom.
Gu Zhao was preparing breakfast when he heard the commotion behind him and turned to greet him, "Good morning."
"Good morning." Ji Su smiled back and walked over to the table, pouring a glass of water to drink.
Gu Zhao leaned against the kitchen counter and looked at him, "How did you sleep last night?"
Ji Su nods, "Sleep well."
Gu Zhao asked slowly, "Isn't it warm to sleep in my arms?"
"Ahem ......" Ji Su choked and coughed as a mouthful of water nearly spewed out.
Gu Zhao walked over and patted him on the back, "Drink slowly, no one is stealing from you."
Ji Su wiped the water stain on the edge of her lips with the back of her hand, her eyes fluttering about, "That ...... I'm sorry ah, I don't seem to be sleeping very well, why don't we just split-"
"It's fine." Gu Zhao interrupted just in time, "I don't mind."
Ji Su : "Oh ......"
Gu Zhao withdrew his hand, "Get ready for breakfast."
Breakfast was hearty, with softly boiled pumpkin and millet porridge, sizzling potato pancakes with flavorful tea eggs and refreshing pickled cucumbers, delicious and warming the stomach.
After breakfast, Ji Su remembered something, "By the way Lawyer Gu, does your family know about your marriage?"
Gu Zhao had asked for his opinion on whether he could get a license first and then have a wedding before getting a license.
Although the registration of same-sex marriages is open nowadays, he felt that it was a bit weird to organize a wedding for two big men, who are not married in free love, so he simply skipped this step.
So only Qiao Jin on his side knows about their marriage license.
Gu Zhao returned, "I told Grandpa."
Ji Su volunteered, "So do we need to find some time and pay a visit to his old man?"
"There's no rush first." Gu Zhao wiped the corners of his lips, "We'll go back after a while."
Despite some misgivings in his mind, Ji Su answered, "Good."
Wasn't Lawyer Gu rushed by her family and that's why she approached him for a flash mob?
How come you're not in a hurry now that you've gotten your license ......

I don't have to work on the weekends, but both of them have a bit of business on their hands, one in the study and one in the bedroom, without disturbing each other.
Ji Su had thought that after being single for a long time, it would be more or less uncomfortable to suddenly enter into married life, but at the moment, the two of them were living in the same room, each of them going about their own business, and it was much more harmonious than he had imagined.
After dinner, Ji Su sits on the rug in front of the living room couch, watching a movie with her headphones on.
Gu Zhao sits behind him on the couch, laptop in his lap, large bony hands tapping away at the keyboard.
After a long time, Gu Zhao finished there, picked up the computer and put it aside, leaning over to look at Ji Su's computer screen.
Ji Su was watching the movie intently, and the plot had reached its most tense moment, when a hand suddenly came to rest on his shoulder.
"Ah!" Ji Su shrieked in fright and ducked to the side.
"Don't be afraid, it's me." Gu Zhao whispered soothingly.
Ji Su calmed down, his heart still beating fast, and a little embarrassed, he explained in a small voice, "I'm sorry, I'm so used to being alone at home that I forgot for a moment that there was someone next to me."
It's really not that he's timid or fussed ......
"I'm sorry, I'm the one who scared you." Zhao Gu looked down at him and smiled, "But you'll have to get used to it sooner rather than later, I'm still here at home."
Ji Su promised, "Okay, I'll try to get used to it sooner."
"Uh-huh." Gu Zhao got up and sat on the cushion next to him, "What movie are you watching?"
"A thriller." Ji Su pauses the movie and briefly describes it, "It's older, but it's a classic."
Gu Zhao side-eyes, "You like thrillers?"
Ji Su shook her head, "It's not really something I like to watch, it's mostly to work on my guts."
Gu Zhao continued, "So what kind of movies do you like to watch?"
"Favorite comedies, comedies can relax people." Ji Su pursed her lips, "What about Lawyer Gu, do you like watching movies?"
Gu Zhao replied, "I didn't like to watch it before, but I like to watch comedies afterward."
Ji Su blinked her eyelashes, suddenly reacting to what that meant.
His ears warmed slightly and he moved his eyes back to the computer.
Gu Zhao inquired, "Can I watch a movie with you?"
"Sure." Ji Su snapped back, "I'll change the movie then."
This movie has been playing most of the way through, and starting to watch it halfway through will only cloud it.
The two nestled in front of the couch and re-picked a comedy romance movie.
Gu Zhao's eyes fell on the computer screen, one arm resting on the sofa behind Ji Su, his large hand hanging down on the side of his thin shoulder.
As the movie's plot progresses, the hero and heroine's relationship heats up and they kiss and roll into bed.
Ji Su felt a tightening of the heart and straightened his back a little uncomfortably.
Isn't it a comedy movie? How come there's a big kissing scene?
As a result, the movie's hero and heroine kissed more and more intensely, with the sounds of wet kisses and gasps coming out through the computer and echoing in both of their ears.
The living room was large, but the small space in front of the couch suddenly became very cramped, and the air around it seemed to be getting hotter and hotter.
Ji Su couldn't stand it and deliberately spoke to break the strange atmosphere, "I'm a little thirsty, do you want some water, Counselor Gu?"
Gu Zhao's hand on the side of his shoulder moved to grip his shoulder, "I'm not thirsty, keep looking."
Ji Su cringed and said nothing more.
The corner of Gu Zhao's lips slightly hooked, and he smoothly wrapped the person into his arms.
Ji Su leaned against the broad shoulders, and his heartbeat couldn't help but get faster.
He stared at the computer screen, but his brain couldn't actually process the information his eyes were receiving anymore.
Gu Zhao lowered his head and stared at the pretty red face in the ghostly light emanating from the computer.
Mr. Ji was scrupulously professional at work, polite and detached in private, and this affectation now clinging to his arms was something only he could see.
At the thought, his heart slowly expanded like a blown-up balloon.
Gu Zhao was obsessed, a little closer to the full wet red lips.
Ji Su's eyelashes fluttered violently, and he almost held his breath at the approaching sniffles.
The high bridge of his nose brushed against the soft flesh of his cheek first, rubbing against it affectionately twice.
Ji Su's mind went blank and she couldn't think of anything to hide.
Just then, the cell phone on the coffee table vibrated.
Ji Su woke up with a start, pushed away the handsome face that was close by and grabbed her cell phone to escape.
He got up so fast that he almost hit the corner of the couch.
The veins on the side of Gu Zhao's forehead twitched as he opened his mouth to warn, "Be careful."
"Oh ......" Ji Su didn't dare to look back at all and fled back to her bedroom without looking back.
He closed the door to his room and leaned his back against the door panel, his heart beating like a drum and shaking his fingertips a little.
After a long time of not getting a response, the phone hung up automatically and then vibrated again a few seconds later.
Ji Su slowed down and lifted his cell phone to pick up the call, "Hey, Joe."
"Susu baby!" Qiao Jin's voice came through, "What took you so long to answer the phone, I'm not disturbing you, am I?"
Ji Su lets out a breath, "Nope ......"
"No, why do I feel that your voice sounds a bit weak?" Qiao Jin suddenly smiled lewdly, "Could it be that you were tossed around too much by Gu Da's lawyer last night and just woke up from your nap?"
Ji Su: "......"
Qiao Jin thought he had guessed correctly: "I told you I hadn't lost my eyesight, Gu Da's lawyer is so fierce!"
"No." Ji Su lifted her other hand and covered her burning cheek, "Nothing happened last night."
"Huh? Nothing happened?" Qiao Jin was shocked, "Crap! Really?"
"Really." Ji Su lowered her voice, "We were both just lying in the same bed, each sleeping."
Even though they'd cuddled in the morning, he was sure nothing had happened that crossed the line.
"Not that I'm saying, the two of you are young and vigorous, but on your wedding night, you are actually chatting purely under the quilt?" Qiao Jin said in an incredulous tone, "Is there something wrong with you, or is there something wrong with Mr. Gu Da?"
"I am fine with it." Ji Su thought for a moment, and his tone was a bit hesitant, "Lawyer Gu should ...... also be fine with it, right?"
Qiao Jin was so worried: "No, this is a matter of your sexual well-being for the rest of your life, you have to get it right!"
Ji Su moves towards the table, "Maybe he just respects me more."
"Is that so?" Qiao Jin said half-heartedly, "Could it be that Lawyer Gu Da is really the kind of good man who respects his partner?"
Ji Su nodded, "I think he's pretty good anyway."
If he didn't recognize the other person's character, he wouldn't have married Gu Zhao so hastily.
"Alright, then you guys should cultivate your feelings first." Qiao Jin said in a tone of an experienced person, "When the feelings are in place, doing that kind of thing will fall into place."
Ji Su responds, "Hmmm ......"
"Susu baby, you can't not take this matter to heart." Qiao Jin seriously admonished, "Harmonious husband and wife life is one of the key factors in maintaining marital happiness, if you two are not harmonious in that area, there will be a lot of trouble in the future."
Ji Su sat back in her chair, "I know."
"But Counselor Gu Da's physique looks like he's very good at cooking." Qiao Jin's words changed, "The only thing to worry about is whether his size will be too-"
"Wait, stop." The heat that had only receded in Ji Su's cheeks spread back up, "Jo, let's not discuss this just yet, okay?"
"Okay, okay, let's not discuss this first!" Qiao Jin laughed, "Then discuss it, when will we tell the others about the happy news of your marriage?"
Ji Su frowned slightly, "I don't think it's necessary to make it public for now."
Qiao Jin pursued, "Not even your mom?"
"She's been busy lately, we haven't hit video in a while." Ji Su paused slightly, "I'll talk to her when I get a chance."
"That's fine." Qiao Jin didn't try to persuade him any further, "Getting married is between the two of you after all, so you can make it public when you want to."
They chatted for a while longer, and after hanging up the phone, Ji Su grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
When he came out after washing, he found Gu Zhao sitting on the sofa reading a book.
Lawyer Gu wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses and his ringed fingers flipped through the pages of a book, looking elegant and scholarly.
In the next instant, he raised his eyes, and a regal aggressiveness came out of his dark and deep eyes, like a wolf that had its eyes on its prey.
But the look was fleeting, so fast Ji Su thought he was hallucinating.
"Washed up?" Gu Zhao put down the book in his hand.
"Uh-huh." Ji Su toweled her wet hair, "Are you going to wash it?"
Gu Zhao stood up, "There's a hair dryer in the bathroom, dry your hair before you go to sleep."
"Okay, then I'll go blow-dry my hair." Ji Su answered and turned back to the bathroom again.
Gu Zhao followed by stepping into the bathroom, opening the cabinet next to the sink and removing the hair dryer from it.
Ji Su raised her hand to pick up the hair dryer, "Thanks."
Gu Zhao backhanded the hair dryer into the outlet, "I'll do it for you."
Ji Su wanted to refuse, but didn't know how, and didn't say anything for a while.
The two stood in front of the mirror one after the other, and due to their size difference, looking through the mirror, the taller body behind them could almost wrap Ji Su in a whole package, looking as if they were leaning into each other's arms.
The sound of a hair dryer buzzed and Gu Zhao blew his hair carefully with downcast eyes.
Long, strong fingers traveled back and forth between the dark, soft strands of hair, the slightly roughened fingertips occasionally grazing the scalp and stirring up a small electric current.
Helping to blow-dry hair is an intimate affair, and Ji Su's discomfort hides a hidden heartbeat.
Gu Zhao's fingertips descended behind the sensitive ear, seemingly brushing against the delicate skin.
Ji Su's spine tingled and his legs went a little weak as his body leaned back uncontrollably.
Gu Zhao drew a hand to catch him and whispered in his ear, "What's wrong?"
Ji Su was just about to speak when he sensed something against his hip.
He was a normal adult male and it only took him two seconds to react.
Snow-white earlobes suddenly reddened to dripping blood, and Ji Su scrambled to reach out and grab the sink, almost half-lying on the marble countertop in an attempt to get farther away from the other man.
I don't know that such a posture is more like a deliberate invitation.
The knots in Gu Zhao's throat moved, forcibly restraining the urge to press the person hard against the sink, and said in a muffled voice, "Hair's blow-dried."
Ji Su responded dryly, "Thanks ......"
Gu Zhao's gaze fell on the rounded and firm buttocks, his eyes dark and uncertain, "I'm going to take a shower."
"Huh? Oh!" Ji Su finally found her senses and got up to try to exit the bathroom.
However, Gu Zhao had not yet gotten out of the way, and as he did, he slammed back into his opponent's arms.
Gu Zhao's voice was a little more hoarse, "Mr. Ji, do you want to wash together?"
"No, no ......" Ji Su stammered in denial, "I've already washed it."
Gu Zhao closed his eyes and turned toward the shower area.
Ji Su evacuated the bathroom quickly and closed the door behind her.
As he sat on the edge of the bed, his mind couldn't help but recall the inappropriate topic he had just discussed with Qiao Jin.
Attorney Gu seems really big and ......
Ji Su collapsed under the soft covers and buried herself.
Gu Zhao took a long bath and came out wrapped in vapor.
The line of sight fell on the sleeping figure on the bed, only to feel a surge of blood qi running through the limbs again, then converging downwards, the cold shower just now was obviously in vain.
Gu Zhao takes several deep breaths repeatedly, walks over silently, and lies down on the bed.
In the middle of the night, Ji Su was awakened by the heat.
He lifted his eyelashes in a daze and realized that he had somehow rolled back into Gu Zhao's arms.
Ji Su moved his tingling legs and his soft knees unconsciously pushed upwards.
There was a muffled grunt from above his head, and Gu Zhao opened his mouth to ask, "Mr. Ji, what are you doing?"
Ji Su woke up with an inexplicable sense of embarrassment at being caught in the act and struggled in his arms, "I didn't do anything ......"
Both of their limbs were entwined together, and as he rubbed back and forth, Gu Zhao's breath was in complete disarray.
He reached out with his large hand and pinned the slender waist with one hand, holding the person firmly in place.
Ji Su gasps in shock, "Lawyer Gu ......"
Gu Zhao breathed in sharply, "Still called Gu lawyer?"
"Gu, Gu Zhao ...... " Ji Su changed her call, her voice a little pitchy from nerves, "I'm not ready ...... "
"Uh-huh." Gu Zhao answered huskily, turning him around in his arms, his back to himself.
Ji Su had just breathed a sigh of relief when, in the next instant, a large hand squeezed into the snow-white, delicate leg.
Gu Zhao's hand was frighteningly hot, and the force was not to be denied.
Ji Su shuddered, "Gu Zhao you want to do ......"
"Don't be afraid." Gu Zhao clasped him tightly in his arms, his low, sexy voice compelling, "Use only your legs."
