Giving up on eliminating items doesn't trigger any fallacies, but it does set you back two frames.

Compared to the unknown Level 1 punishment, he would rather go backward four squares and think long and hard. However, what surprised him was that Black Tu Zi had also regressed so many frames this time. In the Truth Clock game, it is not the case that if you find a single truth between item A and item B, you can be sure that they are to be eliminated. For example, rubber bands and tires are the only items out of the forty-eight that have the truth that they are rubber, and they can indeed be eliminated by using this individual truth. But it is very likely that among the other forty-six items, rubber bands and ropes can also be eliminated because they are both ropes. Tires and steering wheels can also be eliminated because they are components of a car.
