Checking the body
After explaining the mission, President Xu left Jiang Luo alone and talked about the unexpected incident during the last mission.
After the talent show, Jiang Luo, Ye Xun and Lu Youyi discuss the Fu Yuaner incident and the illusion of Qi Men Dun Jia and tell President Xu about it.
Director Xu had investigated until now, and also had a definite answer. He deliberately dispersed the others, and closed the door, then said: "You guessed right, is indeed the Chi family and Qi family tampering."
"Fu Yuaner's body was taken by the Chi family from the tournament, although Fu Yuaner was an ordinary person, he had a spirit body. Such a corpse is most suitable to be used as a puppet, and there are definitely not many puppets of this quality in the Chi family's possession," Dean Xu said seriously, "As for the illusion technique, only the Chi family's clan elders can achieve that level of skill. But unfortunately, although I've concluded that these two families did the trick, after searching for half a month, I couldn't find any evidence."
Dean Xu shook his head and smiled bitterly, "Nowadays, there are a total of three forces in the metaphysical world. On one side are the six great masters who have many elites, and on the other side are the twelve colleges and universities. The state stands in the middle, impartial, maintaining the balance between us. When something like this happens, if I tell you the truth and you don't get into trouble, they won't admit it either, and in the end, we can only leave the matter unsettled. Unless you can produce evidence, let the state make the decision."
But here's the trouble spot.
The law emphasizes the principle of "no crime without suspicion", but people who study metaphysics are different from ordinary people, and there are always some mysterious and esoteric means. Their methods are so mysterious and ill-conceived that it is difficult to leave tangible evidence.
Ye Xun's brow furrowed, "Dean, why are they coming to kill us?"
Dean Xu sighed and waved his hand, "Then you'll have to go ask these two families what they think."
Lu Youyi sputtered, "Could it be that they're looking at us in a bad light because someone from our school made a splash at the competition and overpowered someone from their family?"
When he finished, he poked Jiang Luo, "Lok ah, do you think I'm right?"
Jiang Luo said slowly, "I don't think what you're saying can be exactly the same, only unrelated."
Lu Youyi: "......"
Jiang Luo added: "In fact, when I heard that Qi Ye would not show up for this test, I always had the feeling that they would do it again."
After all, Qi's father was determined to get rid of him.
But Jiang Luo is not very worried.
The Chi family was a little piece of trash in his eyes now, and without Chi You there were no more fangs to fear.
As for the Qi family, their weakness is obvious. Such a big family has raised such a simple sheep like Qi Ye, who is obviously their weak point. Jiang Luo does not want to hurt Qi Ye, but he can use this point to threaten the Qi family.
"That's what I'm worried will happen," Dean Xu said in a deep voice, "I'll contact the police and have them follow far behind the Angonese and try to guarantee your safety. Remember, life comes first, examination comes second, if you encounter danger, don't hesitate to get into a lifeboat and run."
The three looked at each other and nodded.
*
Two days later, Triangle Exit Pier.
Seagulls flew by, the sea was calm, and the wind rolled onto the dock through the salty smell.
The luxurious and spectacular Angonese is docked on the waterfront.
The docks were already filled with a dense crowd of people who looked up in awe at the blazing sunlight on the Angonisse. The dazzling sunlight reflected all colors of brilliance on the clean white body of this work of art, and a huge shadow spread over them from the sea. Most of the people covered by the shadows were commoners dressed in ordinary or even shabby clothes, but there were also some rich people dressed in exquisite and decent clothes.
The crew put up the ladder rack and shouted, "It's ready!"
The Angonesse had two embarkation ports, one for the civilians on the bottom and one for the rich on the top. Both embarkation ports were guarded by crew members, while the captain stood at the entrance to the rich passage with a warm smile on his face.
The Angonese only recognizes tickets, but in addition to the tickets, all those boarding the ship are subjected to a strict and careful inspection, in order to prevent anyone from bringing on board any electronic devices capable of contacting the outside world and transmitting messages.
Yes, the Angonese does not accept guests with technology.
Such a strange setting should not have been accepted. But the people who came to board the ship acquiesced to this rule, even the fussy rich and famous, and obeyed it.
It is now time for the guests to board the ship.
The rich lined up in twos and threes, and after the crew had checked the tickets on the ground, they were the first to take away the luggage for inspection before carrying it to their respective rooms.
The rich people whose tickets had been checked then boarded the ship, where another group of people checked in more detail whether they were carrying instruments that could be used for filming and recording.
The rich man's passage was well organized.
In contrast to this place, the first level was particularly crowded and noisy at the civilian passageway.
Everyone was sweating in the middle of the crowd with their bags in hand. The smell of sweat and feet was overwhelming, and the sound of men cursing and women's high heels made a distracting prelude.
"It's so hot," Zhuo Zhongqiu simply took off his duck-tongue hat and backhandedly fanned himself, "Hundreds of people are crowding onto the ship, and they're checking so carefully, I'm going to die of paralysis."
"Yes," Lu Youyi said wanly, "I'm so thirsty my throat is smoking."
Wen Renlian handed him the water in his hand and laughed, "Kuang Zheng didn't sweat at all, you guys are almost dry."
"Can it be the same?" Lu Youyi drank half of the bottle of water in one gulp, wiped his mouth comfortably, and looked at Kuang Zheng with envy and jealousy, "Kuang Zheng spends his days next to the fireplace, he's already accustomed to these temperatures. But compared to Kuang Zheng, I am most envious of ......"
His gaze shifted to the sparsely populated passageway of the rich, "Boing, so envious."
Ye Xun looks down, rubbing the sweat on the top of his head over Xiao Fen's body, and looks toward the people around him, "Something's very wrong."
"They all look poor," he saw a man blow his nose and wipe his fingers casually on his body, "or at least have no spare money that would come to buy an expensive ship's ticket."
Regular boat tickets also cost four figures.
Wenren Lian whispered, "Yes, and the number of ordinary people boarding the ship is several times greater than the rich. They still seem to be in such a rush."
What is it about this cruise ship that makes them willing to pay such a large sum of money to get on board?
Rich Passage on.
The men were dressed as gentlemen and the women were radiant. Everyone was wearing extremely eye-catching watches and jewelry, but even so, there were always a few people who stood out.
The crewman jogged all the way to the ground and came to the guest, bending down respectfully, "Guest, please give me your luggage."
The dark-haired young man in sunglasses handed him the luggage and boat ticket in his hand absently, "Be careful."
The dark-haired youth was dressed in a casual outfit, his shiny black hair cascading over his shoulders. Sunglasses covered his eyebrows, but the line of his jaw was beautiful and sharp. His lips were as luscious as the color of roses, and contained a few hints of frivolous flirtation.
Now it's his turn to board the ship, and behind him Ge Zhu tries hard to strain his face, trying to act like a rich man.
The two walked up the stairs. Ge Zhu whispered, "Jiang Luo, you look like you're really rich."
Two days before boarding the ship, Ge Zhu went to Lu Youyi to learn what it means to have a rich man's temperament. But Lu Youyi doesn't have any of this stuff, so he can only binge on movie and TV dramas to learn how to be a rich man from the screen.
However, seeing such a big ship and such a big battle for the first time, Ge Zhu was still a bit scared.
Jiang Luo turned back, pulled his sunglasses up the bridge of his nose to look at him, and whispered, "Just remember four words - no one in sight."
Ge Zhu coughed twice, "I try."
Jiang Luo has never been a rich man either, but he knows Chi You.
Take Chi You's attitude and remove the appearance of gentleness, that kind of arrogance and coldness, no one will ever suspect his identity.
On the boat, the captain of the ship reaches out to shake Jiang Luo's hand with a big smile. These people are always out at sea, and their bodies smell of the sea air that has been left behind over the years.
"Welcome aboard the Angonese, distinguished guest," the captain shook Ge Zhu's hand again, "Good morning, Mr. Zhong Wei, Mr. Lu Qi."
Jiang Luo smiled, moodily, "Hello, Captain."
The captain held out his hand toward the right, "Please go there for one last check, and I wish you a pleasant tour in advance."
Jiang Luo and Ge Zhu went to the right and entered a beautifully decorated room.
There were already two crew members waiting in the room, they put on their gloves and came to Jiang Luo in front of the two of them, "Sir, I'll be conducting the last check for you next, please cooperate."
Jiang Luo nods and opens his hand for the crew to inspect. But the crewman is about to touch him when he stops abruptly and says toward the door, "First Mate."
Jiang Luo turned around to see a tall man walking leisurely through the door.
This man should be of mixed Chinese and Western blood, with a deep silhouette, his dark blonde hair was messy by the sea breeze, and elegantly and diffusely fell down around his deep blue ocean-like eyes.
The crewman walked over and said, "First mate, what can I do for you?"
"I'll check on this guest," the first mate said as his tone lifted, "and you go see to the others."
The crew responded with an okay and walked out of the room.
Next to him, Ge Zhu was being checked for pockets on his body, glancing up hastily and then lowering his head.
The first mate walked up to Jiang Luo, who looked at him searchingly.
An elusive smile hung at the corners of the man's mouth as he reached down and pulled a pair of white gloves out of the box, slowly slipping them onto his hands.
White gloves wrapped around his slender fingers, and the first mate's five fingers spread out to make the gloves more flattering. He smiled and raised his head as he walked over to Jiang Luo and politely said, "Guest, I'm going to start inspecting you now."
The tone was pleasant.
"First, please open your mouth."
The familiar feeling on the first mate was too strong, and after a few more glances, Jiang Luo decided that this first mate must be Chi You.This guy didn't even pretend anymore. Jiang Luo's eyebrows jumped, his brows frowned tightly and opened his lips.
A white-gloved index finger reached into Jiang Luo's lips and stroked Jiang Luo's teeth one by one. His movements were slow and ambiguous, as if he was deliberately slowing down his teasing. A delicate itch rose from his upper jaw, Jiang Luo insisted for a while, his lips and teeth became tired and sore, so he took a step back and tried to close his mouth.
"No, Guest," the First Mate pressed down on Jiang Luo's lower teeth, so forcefully that he propped Jiang Luo's lips open again, "I haven't finished my inspection yet."
Jiang Luo glared at his first mate with sparks of fire in his eyes.
Long enough to open his lips and drool the fuck out. Jiang Luo wasn't feeling well, his eyes trailing over the first mate's face as his fists clenched quietly.
Slowly and methodically, the first mate finally finished inspecting the inside of the lips. His finger slowly withdrew from the inside and as if he was lingering, he tapped on Jiang Luo's lips and praised, "The guest's teeth are neat and clean, very beautiful."
"Thanks," Jiang Luo sneered as he took the water and rinsed his mouth, "I like my teeth too."
The first mate took the handkerchief in his breast pocket and wiped the crystallized water between his fingers. He looked at the handkerchief with pity and immensity, and the expression was surprisingly a bit like the ginseng spirit's look as he watched Jiang Luo let the bathwater run.
"So next, I'm going to check your hair."
The first mate moved a chair in front of Jiang Luo and said courteously, "Please sit down."
Jiang Luo sat down with a leathery smile and said in a bad tone, "I wish you'd speed things up a bit."
"Yes," said the first mate, bending over, "I will take your advice."
The cool touch of the glove brushed past Jiang Luo's scalp.
The first mate said, as if in idle conversation, "Where are the guests from?"
Jiang Luo: "I think your code of conduct states that you don't ask guests for privacy."
The first mate stifled a laugh, "Sorry."
Sliding his fingers into the ends of Jiang Luo's hair, the first mate added, "The guest's last name is Zhong? That's a rare surname."
"That would be because you've seen too little," Jiang Luo asked rhetorically, "What's your name?"
"Winston."
"Winston, good, I'll keep you in mind," Jiang Luo inclined his head to pick at him, "Carry on."
The hair was quickly examined, and Jiang Luo stood up again, spreading his hands.
The first mate examined him from the side of his waist to both arms, gradually sliding down to his wrists. White-gloved hands worked their way down the backs of the hands and gently inserted themselves into the guest's fingers.
The dark-haired guest smirked, the hot breath from his lips sweeping dangerously across the first mate's chin, "First mate, you seem to be harassing me."
The first mate gave a surprised look, "What makes a guest think that?"
He was taller and had longer arms than Jiang Luo. The white finger cuffs easily touched Jiang Luo's fingertips, lightly touching the rounded nails, and then withdrew extremely quickly.
"The proportions of the body are perfect as well," the first mate didn't mince words of praise, "you are the most beautiful of all the boarding guests I've seen today."
Jiang Luo lowered his hand, his fingernails scratching blood from the back of the first mate's hand as he teased, "I've heard a lot of things like that, your compliments are boring to me, and it's hard for me to even say 'thank you for the compliment'."
"Yeah?" The first mate sighed sadly, "I'll need to think of some more novel compliments then."
He said, "Guest, please turn around."
Jiang Luo turned around.
Ge Zhu on the side has reached the final stage, he looked up to Jiang Luo, incomparably puzzled, "Jiang ...... Zhong Wei, why are you so slow?"
Jiang Luo said, "That's probably because the one who examined me has a crippled hand."
The impatience in his tone was not hidden at all, and the arrogance and impudence of a rich man was on full display. With such a capricious demeanor, if it was a real crew member who was inspecting him, he would have been afraid that his hands would be shaking in fear.
But the first mate's hand was steady, even extraordinarily scrupulous not to miss every spot that hadn't been inspected, literally checking from hairline to tooth, fingertip to toe.
By the time Jiang Luo had been thoroughly examined, Ge Zhu had been sitting in a daze for several minutes.
The first mate delivered Jiang Luo's jacket with a perfect smile, "The inspection is over, thank you for your cooperation. You go out the door and turn right, just keep walking to your room."
Jiang Luo hitched up his jacket, gave him a nonchalant look, and turned to walk outside with Ge Zhu.
Ge Zhu was about to go to the right when he saw Jiang Luo going to the left. He followed, wondering, "What are you doing going this way?"
Jiang Luo said, "I'm looking for the captain."
The captain was still standing at the entrance of the passageway, when he saw Jiang Luo and Ge Zhu coming over, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes and he took the initiative to walk over and said, "Two guests, may I ask what I can do for you?"
"One thing," Jiang Luo said, "Captain, I have a complaint against one of your crew."
The captain was even more surprised and he shuffled his ears, "Go ahead."
"The first mate on this ship, a man named Winston," Jiang Luo pulled up a smile that was anything but nice, "I'm going to file a complaint against him for sexually harassing me. I hope that you will deal with it fairly, my only request, tell this Winston to get the hell out of the shit and don't let him appear in front of me again."
Captain: "...... Yes."
