Chapter 90: Blood eel
The blade cut through the suit pants on the inner thigh.
The Evil Ghost's leisurely form stiffened, and he said with an odd expression, "Castrate me?"
It was the first time he had ever heard someone say that to himself.
Jiang Luo pulled the dagger out and smiled as if he was just joking, "Are you afraid?"
Evil Ghost, however, didn't think he was just joking, and he nodded honestly, "Kind of."
The corners of the black-haired youth's mouth curled up, and he said softly, "How can Mr. Bigger be afraid of such a small dagger?"
He slid the tip of his dagger across the villain's thigh.
"If you want to fuck me, what's so terrible about being castrated if you can even think such a bold idea?" Jiang Luo said.
The audience on stage didn't know who to envy for a moment.
Dangerous young brunette and pretty slave, the vibe between them seems like they can't plug in four or three.
But a moment later, Jiang Luo stopped his hand, he looked down and raised an eyebrow, "Are you a pervert?"
"You can feel it at a time like this?"
The evil spirit was reminded before realizing that he had a reaction, but he then laughed, oblivious to any shame, "Who knew it would be like this ...... But the slave has this kind of problem, as a master, shouldn't you solve this nuisance for me."
Jiang Luo smiled but not laughed, "You have a point."
In the next instant, the crowd under the stage exclaimed in shock and sucked in a breath of cold air.
Chi You grunted, dodging the dagger just in time at the last moment.
With the dagger plunged into his thigh, dangerously close to being castrated, and his body's instincts unconsciously subsiding from the pain, Jiang Luo naturally said, "Isn't that settled?"
He pulled the dagger up regretfully, "Pity, you're still worth a seven figure sum, and you can't be castrated just yet."
"But it doesn't matter, this body wasn't yours in the first place, it's only fun to castrate your own."
The evil spirit looked at the dagger, his face rarely looked a little bad. Jiang Luo lifted Chi You's face and carefully examined it, "Mr. Dramatic looks like this, seven figures is too cheap."
His voice perked up all of a sudden, "Seven figures isn't enough, I'm going to have to make your price tag much higher for that."
"But in between," the dark-haired youth straightened up, tightening the riding crop around Chi You's neck with a pleasant smile, "you're going to have to answer me first, why did you come on board?"
The evil spirit watched his hair leave his shoulders and said slowly, "Of course it's for you."
Jiang Luo exerted force in his hands, and deep marks were strangled on the evil spirit's neck.
The Evil Ghost was forced to tilt his head back and look at the graceful lower jaw that peeked out from beneath the dark-haired youth's mask, the excitement in his blood beginning to quiver as he said slowly, "We can trade questions."
"Starting with me first," the evil spirit decided to himself, "why did you deliberately give me the Primordial Heavenly Pearl?"
"I just want to see how much a Primordial Heavenly Pearl can restore you," Jiang Luo said, "and to remind you that after you've gotten stronger, you should hurry up and carry out your big plans-- like destroying the Chi family. -For example, the extermination of the Chi family. If you can, you'd better teach the Chi family a lesson as well."
The evil spirit whispered, "There's no hurry, they'll die sooner or later."
"Then it is time for me to answer the question," said the evil spirit, "I came on board ...... because of you, of course."
The rope between the evil spirit's neck nearly broke his neck.
Jiang Luo, "If you keep having this attitude, we don't have to move on, we can play with something else."
Chi You shrugged, his shape woefully out of shape but extremely relaxed in spirit, his dark blonde hair wet with sweat and strewn in front of his eyes, surprisingly charming and sexy in a down-home kind of way.
Jiang Luo suddenly laughed, "Mr. First Mate, you really look like a cowboy."
"Cowboy?" Chi You laughed silently, "And was the customer satisfied?"
"It's not important whether I'm satisfied or not," Jiang Luo turned his chair so that Chi You was facing the audience sideways, and walked slowly to Chi You himself, his hands propped up on top of the armrests as he bent over and smiled nastily at the evil spirit, "It's important to satisfy that group of spectators down on stage, and that's what matters most. "
Every move the dark-haired youth made was tickling the evil spirit's nerves.
The evil spirit jerked straight up and probed forward, and when he was about to succeed in kissing Jiang Luo's lips at the limit of his bound position, he suddenly paused and sidestepped to kiss the corner of Jiang Luo's lips, and the next moment he was yanked back to his original position. He leaned back in his chair in a loose manner and said pleasantly, "They don't matter."
Pity, he thought in his mind.
It's not my body.
Jiang Luo, who had been stolen a kiss, had a cold frown on her brow and took her knife and slashed through the evil spirit's blouse from top to bottom. The buttons crumbled to the ground and the shirt split in half, revealing a slit in the upper body under the uniform.
Jiang Luo condescendingly surveyed the Evil Ghost's current appearance, and when satisfied, he re-turned the seat back so that the Evil Ghost was facing the crowd directly offstage.
The chasing lights were so bright that the area beyond them was dark and dim, and the shadows shifted, but not very visible.
But the hot sight that seemed to have become substance was cast out of the darkness, half on the bloodstained slave and half on the dark-haired youth.
The beautifully lithe master deliberately used the handle of her riding crop to gently pick at the split in the slave's torn dress and teased, "Mr. First Mate has an enviable figure."
Jiang Luo knew what he was doing, from his chest to his abs, the hidden effect was most intriguing to explore. He had perfectly whetted the appetite of the crowd with his slave, but what made the heart beat faster was the black leather gloved hand belonging to his master, which was sliding down the slit in an extremely slow and charming manner.
The evil spirit tilted its head back, obviously a slave, but leaning leisurely on the back of the chair as if it were its master, enjoying Jiang Luo's movements.
However, this hand came to an abrupt end when it touched the abdomen, and the evil spirit opened its deep eyes, a mishmash of dark fire and unsatisfied annoyance. It was then that Jiang Luo smiled and said to the stage, "Such a slave, the reserve price is seven figures, does anyone wish to bid?"
The people on the stage were dumbfounded, and soon, the first person tentatively called for a bid.
"Three million."
"I'm five million dollars!"
"......"
*
The performance on stage was intense, and off stage the master license holders who couldn't participate in the increasingly high bidding had to look for other slaves with red eyes.
The mood of the ball was restless.
Kuang Zheng was on the alert, carefully protecting his friends. But an old man suddenly jumped out from his left side and rushed to him. The old man looked Kuang Zheng up and down, with a bit of cynicism in his eyes, and said grimly, "I want you to be my slave."
Zhuo Zhongqiu promptly flashed the crown card Ge Zhu had given her, "Excuse me, he is my slave."
The old man glanced resentfully at Zhuo Zhongqiu, but his eyes turned to Wen Renlian, who was protected by Kuang Zheng, and his cloudy eyes lit up, "I need to see your cards, I guess you must be a slave."
Zhuo Zhongqiu and Kuang Zheng's faces changed.
Lu Youyi protected Ye Xun, Ge Zhu protected Sai Liaoer, and there was no way for them to protect Wen Renlian anymore.
Wenren Lian, however, laughed twice without panicking.
He ruffled his long hair and smirked, "You want me to be your slave?"
The old man said, "You're tall, but you're not bad looking."
Wenren even said to himself, "That's why I like to wear women's clothes."
Jiang Luo on the stage heard the commotion here in the crowd, his complexion stared and he jumped off the stage directly towards this place. When the old man reached out and was about to hold Wen Renlian's wrist, he knocked down the old man's hand and said with an icy face, "Who let you touch my slave?"
The old man who was stopped was about to get angry when he flinched slightly upon seeing that it was Jiang Luo, "Your slave?"
On stage, Chi You licked the blood from his lips and squinted towards Jiang Luo.
There was little emotion in his deep blue eyes, and his handsome face without ripples looked like a lifeless corpse under the chasing lights. He saw the old man pointing at him on the stage and questioned the dark-haired youth, "And who is that on the stage?"
Jiang Luo pulled Wen Renlian behind himself and said carelessly, "I'm already tired of playing with Mr. First Mate on the stage, whoever pays the money will be Mr. First Mate's new master."
His words were heard by many, and those who were still bidding called even more ferociously. The evil spirit on the stage, however, sank his entire face.
But at this point, no one cared if he looked good or bad.
Someone argued reasonably, "He's being played like that, you've got to go cheaper."
"Sorry, no haggling," Jiang Luo's tone was strong, "After what you have just been conditioned to do, you can already see the value of Mr. First Mate. As a good slave, I think he's worth any price."
Jiang Luo finished speaking and pulled Wen Renlian around to walk out, "Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be leaving first. The one on the stage be my guest, oh, and remember don't forget to call me for money."
Without a second thought, the dark-haired youth left with the others.
Chi You looked at his back expressionlessly.
A hideous black mist wrapped around him, and ghostly faces loomed.
Ordinary people offstage who couldn't see this were still salivating as they approached the stage, wanting to be the new owner of the evil spirit.
The evil spirit abruptly broke free of the leather handcuffs that bound him.
Moodily, he dodged a hand reaching toward him.
Jiang Luo just threw him away.
It's so, so good, so extreme.
*
Slaves were not allowed to leave without permission, but masters were allowed to take their slaves with them.
Jiang Luo led Wen Renlian to the bow of the unoccupied ship, "On an occasion like this, it's much more dangerous for you to wear women's clothing than men's."
Wenren Lian was still wearing exquisite makeup today, dressed in a woman's outfit that was not extravagant but pretty enough, and in the eyes of outsiders, he was a beautiful lady without any inconsistency.
Wen Renlian walked to his side and handed Jiang Luo a cigarette, the two of them blowing in the humid sea breeze, their hair flying around. Wen Renlian lowered her head and lit the cigarette, but a feminine soft face steeped in dark depths, "That's why I like to wear women's clothing. There are always more interesting things to see and more monstrous challenges to experience in women's clothing."
The words were tinged with sarcasm, "I can learn a lot from such an experience."
Jiang Luo listened quietly, and after the two men finished a cigarette, they began to calmly exchange messages with each other.
When the news from both sides is combined, a general picture of what happened can be drawn.
The rich board the ship in search of blood eels, which have a cosmetic and longevity effect. The civilians on the cruise ship come because of the benefits; they receive a bonus for boarding the ship and a separate payment for participating in the ship's activities.
But who is this money from?
Jiang Luo and Wen Renlian had an answer in mind.
It's rich.
Why would a rich man looking for a blood eel want a civilian on board?
Jiang Luo was about to say something when he heard a loud noise coming from the corner. He and Wen Renlian exchanged glances and gingerly approached the corner.
After walking up to him, Wenren even said, "Who?"
There was a scant shiver in the corner, and after a few minutes a little girl came out.
The little girl was about eight years old, she was wearing a small dress, she timidly glanced at Jiang Luo and Wen Renlian, and lowered her head without speaking.
Wen Renlian asked gently, "Little sister, who are you? Why are you here?"
"My name is Lisa," Wink asked several times in a row before the little girl whispered, "I play here."
Jiang Luo looked at him with his knees propped up and said in the same soft voice, "Are you playing here alone?"
The little girl nodded meekly and looked up at them.
She was as delicate looking as a doll, with curly black hair falling down the sides of her face, but her face was a little malnourished and pale. The clothes were in good style, but the colors were no longer vibrant.
There was also a dirty gray stain at the corner of the skirt.
Doesn't look like a rich man, but civilians don't get into the bow without an invitation from a rich man.
Jiang Luo smiled kindly, "Lisa, who is your father? Brother's send you back okay."
Lisa turned around and pointed to a couple rooms behind her, "This is where I live. My dad was the captain of the ship, I know this place pretty well."
Oh, it's the captain's kid.
Jiang Luo asked, "Where is your mom?"
Lisa gripped the hem of her skirt and whispered back, "Lisa hasn't had a mommy since Lisa's mommy fell overboard in stormy weather two years ago."
So it is.
Without a mother, and with a father who was a busy sea captain, it was only because of this that he was unable to take fine care of his daughter.
The two sent Lisa to the door of her room, before saying goodbye, the little girl bit her lip and hesitated for a long time, then suddenly tugged on Wen Renlian's skirt, "Sister ......"
Smiling, Smell crouched down, "What's wrong?"
The little girl hugged onto Wenren Lian's neck and whispered in Wenren Lian's ear, "Don't drink the fish soup oh."
Wen Renlian's smile remained unchanged as he said in a calm tone, "Lisa can you tell sister why you can't drink fish soup?"
Lisa silently shook her head.
Jiang Luo, who was listening to this, was puzzled.
On the way back, the two of them met crew member Cheng Li again.
Cheng Li's clothes in front of him were soaked through, and his face was ugly, grimacing as he brushed past Jiang Luo and the two of them.
A few drops of water were thrown on Jiang Luo, he wiped the water with his thumb and put it in front of his nose to smell it, it smelled like the sea.
It's sea water.
Wen Renlian saw his behavior and asked, "Is there a problem with this person?"
Jiang Luo looked at a water mark on the ground, "He was covered in seawater, in the middle of the night, did he go jumping into the sea?"
Thinking it strange, he followed the water trail to the head to see that at the stern, a dozen crewmen were going up and down the boat getting ropes. The ropes were tied to two crewmen, the crewmen were wearing wetsuits with fishing rifles hanging from them, and a team of men were lowering a lifeboat down.
Seeing someone coming, the man overseeing the crew's work came over and said, "Gentlemen, this is Crewman Dutai. We are very busy at the moment, and would ask that you go around this area."
The sea breeze blew, and the smell of fish in the stern was much heavier than the bow. Jiang Luo curiously looked at the side of the boat and lowered his voice, "Is this fishing ......?"
He didn't say the rest of the words, but the crewman named Dutai clearly understood him. He laughed, "Sir, you are also too eager. It's only been a day since we sailed, and we haven't even gotten to the fishing spot yet."
"And this is?"
"Mr. Wilton jumped in the water and we just got him out."
"But you needn't worry," Duttae said vaguely, "it's their breeding season, and we were supposed to be watching the bottom of the water for their eggs at all times, in addition to rescuing Mr. Wilton from the water, so that we could identify where they were appearing based on the presence of those eggs. "
Wilton took a dive?
Jiang Luo thought of the pig-like tycoon running out of the gate in a frenzy, and he asked in a low voice, "Dead?"
"There's still a breath left." Dutai said.
Jiang Luo's expression didn't change much as he turned to his main concern: "Isn't it inconvenient to go into the water at night to look for eggs?"
"There's not much difference between night and day," Dutai flashed a grin as he looked out over the pitch-black, impossibly dark sea, "the bottom of the ocean is invisible."
After that, he politely asked Jiang Luo to leave.
Where the rich live and where the commoners live are not on the same floor. Jiang Luo says goodbye to Wen Renlian and returns to his room before remembering Chi You, whom he left in the ballroom.
He grunted and laughed, not bothering anymore.
He didn't believe that a person like Chi You would really be taken advantage of, rather than worrying about that, he should prepare for how to deal with the evil spirits' retaliation.
For the next two days, the cruise ship was quiet. Surprisingly, the evil spirits did not bother Jiang Luo. Jiang Luo also did not receive a fortune, and I heard that the first mate rushed out of the ballroom on the night of the dance. When he saw the first mate on the ship, he always had a look on his face that dared not look at Jiang Luo. Jiang Luo is not interested and realizes that Chi You is leaving the first mate.
Obviously it is the same body, but after Chi You's absence, it seems like a different person, and does not arouse Jiang Luo's interest at all.
And on the fourth day of the sea voyage, a fine windy day, the Angonese managed to salvage a strange fish.
Jiang Luo watched the fish being caught.
Inside the huge nets, black fish as big as two grown men pull the machine with a heavy "creaking" sound. The black fish was pulled by five crew members and put on the scale in the center of the boat, and someone beside Jiang Luo exclaimed, "More than five hundred pounds!"
"That's a couple million dollars for one fish right there ......"
This sounded like the words of a commoner who knew nothing, the rich people had long been looking at the fish with glowing eyes, and some of them were even shaking their hands slightly.
This is a weird looking black fish.
There weren't any scales on its entire body, and its head was huge, so big that it even held out a thin layer of blood color from the skin of its head, and blood could be vaguely seen flowing under the black skin, as if it could be pierced through its head by taking a needle and stabbing it.
It had slippery skin all over its body, which seemed to be covered with a layer of sticky transparent mucus, as if it were a loach. Two copper bell-like eyes were set on the side, one on the left and one on the right, protruding outside of the head, with blood-red eyes.
The strong odor of fish spread slowly across the deck.
One woman couldn't help but dry heave, "So fishy."
The fishy stench was so strong that it smelled like a rotting school of fish, and the faces of those who were affected by the smell were not very pleasant. They covered their noses and took several steps back, again unwilling to leave like this.
This is the blood eel.
After catching the blood eels, the Angonese stayed above this sea. The rich men had no more leisure for fun; they returned to their rooms and waited patiently for the dinner.
Jiang Luo held back from throwing up on the deck, and Wen Renlian slipped a note into his hand as he brushed past him.
Jiang Luo went back to his room and opened it, there was only one sentence in it, Wen Renlian they found four people missing among the civilians.
The four people don't know where they went, they asked the crew, but the crew said that on the night of the ballroom, the four people were played to death by the masked rich people. Wen Renlian and the others think that the truth is not necessarily what the crew said, they want Jiang Luo and Ge Zhu to find out the truth of the death of the four civilians, maybe it has something to do with the blood eel.
Jiang Luo burned the note and went to the bathroom to wash off the fishy smell. The stench of the blood eel was extremely persistent, and Jiang Luo washed his body three times to get rid of the smell.
He couldn't help but wonder if a fish that stinks this bad can really make people beautiful and live longer.
Would anyone really want to eat it?
The dining room was noisy at dinner, and the rich had gathered here early.
Jiang Luo told Ge Zhu about the disappearance of the four civilians, and Ge Zhu pondered for a moment, his eyes roving over the crowd.
If it was a murderer, the face would be hostile or covered with a blood color. Ge Zhu, who was an expert in the study of physiognomy, looked at the circle of people but said strangely, "The faces of these rich people are either good or bad, and none of them look like they have taken the lives of bystanders in the recent past."
Jiang Luo frowns, "Are all the rich people here?"
"They think they'll be able to eat blood eels tonight, and not one of them is absent," Ge Zhu lowered his voice, uncertain, "Jiang Luo, do you think blood eels can really increase one's lifespan or make one young again?"
Jiang Luo sighed, "I don't know."
If it was before he crossed over, Jiang Luo would have laughed at such rumors as "feudal superstition". But now he is in a world where there are celestial masters, evil spirits, there are also black and white impermanence, these many things should not appear in front of Jiang Luo, he can not say whether the blood eel really has this effect.
The two of them whispered and sat still. The other rich men, however, could no longer sit still, and stood up to pace back and forth, looking out the door one after the other.
Half an hour later, the captain entered the dining room belatedly.
However, to the rich people's surprise, there was no sign of the blood eel for dinner. The captain said, "I'm sorry, but although we caught the blood eel today, it's not time to eat it yet."
"And when can we eat?" No sooner had the captain's words left his mouth than someone anxiously voiced a follow-up question.
The captain said without haste, "Sir, the most delicious food requires the most patient waiting. We are working on the blood eel, and in a week's time at the most, you will be able to savor its flavor."
"But with five hundred pounds of blood eels, there are very few fish that can truly achieve effectiveness. The first batch of processed fish meat is the most effective, but according to past experience, the first batch will only be enough for the rations of ten people at most."
The captain flashed a grin, his decree lines deep, "And who those ten will be will be determined by tomorrow night's auction."
