Strength to Conquer Huan Zhong

XXXVII:

Qing Ling gave him a round of applause, "Go for it!"

Huan Zhong, looking at his calm and relaxed manner, always felt that he seemed to have been swindled by him, inexplicably angry, but could not get out, only wanted to hang Qing Ling in acting, to teach him to be a human being!

He had already memorized his lines for tomorrow's scene, so now, after only a few glances, he tossed the script aside and began to act out his scenes with Qing Ling.

Qing Ling saw that his acting was not so natural, so she took the initiative to pass him a few scenes.

Slowly and surely, Huan Zhong's expressions and movements became more natural under his leadership.

When a scene was over, Huan Zhong was very proud, "I acted well, didn't I?"

"You don't ask much of yourself."

"Says you like you're hard on yourself."

"That's a little higher than you."

Qing Ling sat down on the sofa, commenting, "You are too slow to get into the scene, it takes you a bit too long to get into it, your expressions are sometimes unnatural, your movements are stiff, and ......"

Qing Ling wonders, "Have you ever dubbed a movie before?"

"Don't all TV shows have to be dubbed in post-production?"

Huan Zhong sat down on the other side of the room, remembering what he had just said about himself, and said in a conspiratorial manner, "Oh, I forgot, you're a newcomer, so you naturally don't understand."

"You have the nerve to critique me if you don't know what you're talking about." He scorned.

"Not all TV shows have to be dubbed."

Qing Ling is calm, "Only actors who can't deliver their lines or whose voices don't fit their characters need to be dubbed."

He looked at Huan Zhong , "Your voice is good, it fits the character well, but your lines are not up to par, they are not exactly stick readings, but a lot of the time, the emotions are not in place enough. So, if you want to go in the direction of movies in the future, you'd better practice your lines."

This is something Huan Zhong didn't expect, and he frowned in disbelief, "How are my feelings out of place?"

"It's not that it's not spot on, it's that it's not spot on enough." Qing Ling sipped her water, "Meaning it's not that you don't empathize with the characters, it's that you don't empathize strongly enough."

He thought for a moment, "Give me an example."

"That 'she misses you'. Who is she? It's Anning Zhao, the one you like. Why did you come to me to say that? It's because you tried all the ways to be nice to Anning Zhao, but, she still only has Zhaoyang He in her heart, so that's why you met Zhaoyang He after you met her, and your heart was upset, but out of your liking for Anning Zhao, you told Zhaoyang He this sentence."

"At this point, your emotion is one of resignation, unwillingness to admit it, but nothing you can do about it, rather than a dry emotion of only sadness. You say the line without pause, and say the line very coherently. But the book, in this paragraph, says-"

"'Qiu Peng opened his mouth, suppressing the unwillingness and helplessness in his heart, his look hard, obviously very simple words, but seems to have a thousand pounds, 'you go to see her,' he said 'she ......' He paused for a moment, as if renewing his courage for himself, before dropping his eyelashes slightly, and speaking in a less than clear voice 'misses you.' "

"That's the emotion you're supposed to show in this scene, but do you think you showed it? You didn't, you only highlighted the fact that he was sad, and emotions outside of sadness just didn't seem to be there. That's not to say you didn't have the right emotions, just that you didn't have enough, you could have done better."

Huan Zhong had never heard anyone talk to him about this.

He was halfway through his career, hadn't taken any professional acting classes, and just suddenly wanted to act, so he got into it.

The director had taught him his alignment, his movements and demeanor, and how to dangle a willy, but not how to express his character through his lines.

After all, late dubbing is now almost an agreed rule in the biz.

There are even some actors who are too lazy to memorize their lines and just say random lyrics or numbers while filming.

Anyway, there will be a professional commercial cast in the post, and the finished product will come out, and the audience will still hear that you were sincere in every line.

So this is the first time that someone has seriously told him, your lines, they could be better.

"You still read the original?" Huan Zhong asked.

Qing Ling nods, "I'm not like you, I'm a newcomer, I have more time on my hands."

Huan Zhong was in a better mood now - because of Qing Ling's line about me being idle.

He got himself a leg up from that statement; it wasn't that he wasn't paying enough attention, but that he was too busy.

He really didn't read the original, he had so much work and so many announcements.

With a break and so many things waiting for him, how could he be in the mood or have time to read a female-oriented romance novel.

So he just read the script and decided that would be enough.

Actors in the circle are like that, so busy that ip adaptations most of the time just read the script, who cares how you write the original.

As for the ones who occasionally take advantage of their attendance and deliberately pretend to reveal the cover of the original inadvertently, implying to fans that they're reading the original.

Many of them are also just posed shots, used to pull in book fans and gain favor with them.

Who knows if after leaving the event, the book was taken to the foot of the table or just thrown into whatever corner it was to collect dust.

It's not that all actors and actresses in ip adaptations don't read the source material, but most of them don't have the time and are too lazy to do so.

To them, the script is the original.

Huan Zhong Ben did not think there was anything wrong with such a mentality, after all, everyone was like that.

But now, as he looked at Qing Ling in front of him, he was inexplicably a little ashamed.

He had thought that Qing Ling had gone through the back door to get rid of Hongming Chen and become the male lead of the movie.

He felt that he was bound to be just like those backstage curios he had seen in the past, stupid and acting, relying on the fact that he had people behind him, he would be fooling around on the set all day long, and his acting skills were still a mess.

When he gets into trouble, he lets the gold master behind him come out and wipe his ass for him. Shares.

But after only one day, he realized that it wasn't so.

He may indeed have a backstage presence, but he's more naked and earnest than any of them actors.

He had read the original book early, memorized the lines, and mentally tried to figure out the minds of the characters in the play.

Not just his character, but other characters as well.

So he could recite the passages about Qiu Peng in the original book without blinking his eyes and analyze them to him with reason.

Huan Zhong thinks he's kinda rare.

Not only his confidence in himself, but his honesty with others.

When they practiced their martial arts scenes, Qing Ling would adjust her movements to match his habitual mistakes, thus making the whole set look flawless.

And now, Qing Ling also advises him for his line problems, not forcefully, but letting him know that he does have room for improvement.

When Huan Zhong looked at him, it was as if he saw himself when he first joined the circle, full of sincerity and love, holding kindness to everyone who appeared beside him.

However time changed him and he became more and more like those actors he used to dislike.

No longer have a love, just take the shooting as a job, no longer strive for excellence, get by thinking almost.

He doesn't have an ounce of goodwill towards Qing Ling's presence, but Qing Ling unleashes her goodwill on him.

Huan Zhong smiled involuntarily at this moment.

As much as he didn't want to admit it, the other guy really didn't seem to be the sweet, stupid, white newcomer he thought he was.

"You should be able to tell that I don't like you, right?" He asked.

Qing Ling laughed a little, "There are plenty of people who don't like me, and the likes of you don't even rank."

"Yes?" Huan Zhong was a little curious, "What don't the others like about you?"

"That's a lot." Qing Ling rambled, "The one who isn't as handsome as me doesn't like that I look better than him, the one who isn't as smart as me doesn't like that I'm smarter than him, the one who can't beat me doesn't like that I'm better than him, and the one whose crush likes me doesn't like that I'm the only one in the heart of his boyhood god."

"If you're not envied, you're not envied, and there are simply not too many people who don't like me when I'm a person of outstanding value and intelligence and thoughtfulness."

Huan Zhong was helpless, "Can you stop being so narcissistic, praising yourself at every turn."

"This is a correct perception of me, is any of what I just said wrong?"

Huan Zhong: ......

Hate to admit it, but it sure doesn't seem to be there.

Qing Ling is very proud, "You see, how honest I am, it's all the truth."

Huan Zhong: ......

Huan Zhong felt that he would be completely unlike a newcomer in this regard.

What kind of newcomer looks like this? Aren't newcomers always sweet and obedient?

The boss of Morning rise is really something, where did he get this kind of talent?

Chen Yu, who was far away from home, looked at the messages sent out on his WeChat page and was annoyed. What's going on? He sent out so many WeChat messages, but Qing Ling didn't reply to any of them.

Are you asleep?

Then he should have talked to himself before he went to bed!

Distracted, Chen Yu went downstairs to get a glass of water. As he passed by Qing Ling's room, he unconsciously stopped in his tracks and slowly opened the door.

It's pitch black.

Chen Yu watched and silently pulled out from his pocket the note Qing Ling had written to him before she left.

He's thinking of visiting.

Qing Ling guided Huan Zhong's facial expressions and lines for a while, and then told him to go back and read the original book, and to watch the poetry reading when he had time, before sending him back.

Huan Zhong doesn't understand, "Poetry recitation?"

"Don't underestimate poetry recitation, it's all about emotion, a good poetry recitation, one line from the other person and you should be crying, get it?"

Huan Zhong nodded, "Then I'll see you tomorrow for the rehearsal."

"Uh-huh."

Qing Ling said and closed the door.

Huan Zhong scratched his head and walked back.

After walking not more than two steps, he suddenly reacted, not right, he is the senior in the entertainment industry, how come it has become Qing Ling, the junior guiding him now?

That's too much to ask.

Degrading yourself!

But on second thought, he thought, forget it, the great educator Confucius said: keen to learn, not ashamed to ask questions, and this is what he is considered to be not ashamed to ask questions.

Alas, it's rare to find someone like him who doesn't discuss seniority and respects newcomers!

Huan Zhong was deeply moved by himself!

Sihui Zhou opened the door when she heard the knock and was still a bit surprised when she saw her artist standing outside the door, "What's wrong? Looking for me in the middle of the night?"

"So what, I've thought about it," Huan Zhong looked at her with a righteous face, "The male second has to act like a male second, pulling and stepping on the male lead like this can only be done by the evil male match, I'm such a kind person, surely I can't do this kind of unethical thing right? "

Sihui Zhou: ......

Huan Zhong patted her shoulder, "So Sister Zhou, those fluff pieces can be put down for now, let's speak from strength. I've decided not to battle Qing Ling!"
